whats a good cam. my friend have a 94 z28 and was wondering whats a good cam to go with so for he as full bolt ons...he dose not want the hotcam because every one has it out here...so the set you, longtube hooker headers, y-pipe, with cutout, 52mm tb, ported intake, k&n cold air intake, 4.10 gears, with a maddogs tune.

Emissions?! do people even get tested for that anymore? I bet 75% of the cars on this forum wont pass emissions but no one has to know right?! I certainly dont pass emission and im running almost bone stock.

What is the car going to be used for? Street strip both? Do a search or read the sticky at the begining of this forum! My vote cc503 or Le 226/232. They are pretty close to each other. I would think they drive the same. MAD TORQUE! good top end!

With stock heads not the best ! My vote is a cc503 I ran both the 503 and 306 503 good cam all around an sounds good! No 306 it's a older grind but still does work but low end power lacks a little and I shift my 306 at 6500 so if you arnt looking to spin that high go with either a custom grind from ai or le or 503

I like the 503, but I got a hotcam because I got a setup for a price I couldn't refuse. I hate to be "that guy", but you can still pick the hotcams up for cheap and they aren't too bad. If you were looking at buying new, I'd go for the 503. IMO, its an optimum cam for a full bolt-on car.

OR actualy call some one up who can talk to you about your combo and buy what they recomend
I just built a engine with a much smaller cam then the customer had before and he was sure he would not like it. Once we started that bitch up and it started lopping he got curious. After the first test drive he was sold on the Torque I talked him into over the extra 10 hp he had before
