Got both the doors done. I got a very satisfying *clunk* when I close them now Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will try to fill in all the other little areas I missed inside the cabin.

Coming along very nicely. Lower that beast down a hair and it would be perfect.

What kind of sound dampening material are you using under the ensolite? Is it necessary?

I'm going to be installing a fully active component setup in my WS6 after I get the interior gutted and fixed. Judging by your thread, I'm guessing you're a car audio guy. What are your plans there?

Actually, I'm not big on car audio at all. I'm fairly content with my stock bose setup, although I just finished up the wiring yesterday to add speakers in the sail panels. Mine only has 3 speakers from the factory.. I WAS going to go with 4 new aftermarket speakers, with a stealth box in the rear cubby.. but I want to retain the stock headunit, which apparently doesn't play nice with regular speakers. So oh well, not really a huge deal to me.. I'll stick with the stock stuff.

All the sound deadening stuff is from RAAMaudio, and from an installation point of view, I highly recommend it. They have a good 'how-to' on their site, and it's cheaper than dynamat for example. Verdict is still out on the amount of noise reduction, since I still don't have the interior put back in the car yet. I can tell the difference driving it around as-is right now, so I'm thinking it should be a pretty drastic difference from a stock f-body once it's all said and done.

Got the rest of the interior put back together today! Feels nice driving a whole car again.

Here's some final pics of the ensolite before the carpet goes in.

And here's some pics I took today

Old dash pad came out in several pieces....

Now that it's back together, I do think it needs a little drop.. That will wait until sometime this summer though when I'm ready for another project. Besides, I just spent my strano money on some new golf clubs

Still need to give it a good wash and wax, tint the windows, and get a decent sunshade to protect my new dash pad.. Also make a shim for my right rear caliper, and fix my A/C.. It's like a never ending list isn't it?

Car looks awesome! Those replica C5 Z06 wheels are heavy though! About 12lbs heavier than an actual Argent Silver Z06 wheel.

Awesome! How much a difference did it make riding inside the car?

Yeah, I've never weighed those wheels, but you're right they are heavy!

All the sound deadening made a huge difference! Now the car feels so solid going down my parents driveway, not constantly squeaking and rattling.. it's nice

Some 98-02 seats and steering wheel and a new shift **** would top off that interior

TBH, I think I like the thickness of this steering wheel better than the 00-02? camaro wheels. I've driven my dad's '02 TA and while I could definitely get used to the wheel, it always felt a bit thin IMO. I have another wheel that's in better condition that I'll swap mine with eventually.. I also like the pattern on the earlier seats than than the later ones. I also like the fact that these are period correct, and only available for 2 years, and rarely see them in good condition.. Also, I think the hurst **** is very comfortable
A couple things I wouldn't mind changing however, are the shifter boot and parking brake boot. My shifter boot has a hole in it, and the rubber piece by the parking brake is torn.. I also need to get some decent floor mats.

What shifter is that? Is it just the stick that you replaced or the entire unit?
Car looks great by the way!

Thanks, it is a NOS (new old stock) factory Hurst shifter from the local gmc dealer with a ws6 store short stick, and a factory hurst shift ****. It should be the same equipment that was available on 96+ SS and WS6 cars

Thank you sir. I've owned this car 8 years now, it was my first car and I take a lot of pride in the work I've done to it.

Be Careful! I think I put pieces of masking tape on the top (directly over the velcro parts on the bottom) so i knew where I could press down firmly without worrying about cracking it
