We argued this point on LTXTECH for months. I did not put a TH400 in the car for any performance advantage but for reliability. I got tired of rebuilding 60's. Even had several built by nationally known builders. With the car being so heavy it broke parts in the trans. So since most of the ones who said it was not fair to me run in extreme street with a th400 did not show the cars that were in extreme street got together and said they had no problem with the trans in the car. My car is LT1 through and through. Even still has stock casting heads (AI 200) stock PCM, GM Opti, and AI ported intake. And with the TH400 on motor the 60 fts suffer. Best 60 on the 4L60E was 1.48 the best on the TH400 was 1.56. On nitrous they are about the same but now I know on spray the trans will not explode on the launch @4200lbs
