My old LT1 TA had 3.73s (~$450 I think), Ebay stainless steel LT's and ORY ($350 shipped), slp lm2 catback, 3600 stall and ran a 13.024@103.33 in 2700DA with drag radials. Try the used market to stretch your dollar.

x2 on finding 3.42 rear

Pay off all of your debt then start to mod. much easier and you wont have to worry about how you are going to put food on the table with a fast F-body.....

Start a Roth IRA.

Haha just kidding. I'd say ditch the flowmaster muffler and get a nice catback--I went with an SLP loudmouth 2 and it sounds amazing. Headers and a tune would be next on the list from there if I were you. With whats left over, either save it or do some preventative maintenance.

That is actually a very valuable piece of advice. Now if only the markets would rebound to the 10% average pre-2008. I'd be on the gravy train

Some good advice in here. I'm. In the same boat with my 94 Formula. I keep going back and forth between building the lt1 of selling it and getting an ls trans am.

First thing I would do though is 3.73 gears though. Its a whole different car. First mod always with an F body IMO.

which mods have been covered already so il just highlight this^. I'd watch the classifieds and pick up which ever used bolt ons that pop up and sound good to you unless a good deal comes along. I wasn't planning on heads when I swapped cams but I couldnt turn down LE2's for $700
headers would be a priority imo tho

Oh I know. But I can't imagine many young people on this forum--including myself--are disciplined enough to not blow money on their cars regularly.
