I was flipping through Kentucky auto and rv the other day at work, I saw:

a 2001 6speed ss with 75k for $11k not too bad

however there was also a 94' auto 3.4 in there for 7,500 WTF

on the same page as the POS V6 was a 99' z28 in decent condition for $8600!!!

SINCE WHEN WAS A 3.4!!! anywhere close to any V8 camaro EVER!

also saw a 96' trans am for $18,000 in a previous issue!!!

I could get a broken down piece of ****(which I did actually lol) and build a much better car for a ****-ton less! It's just like when The Fast and the Furious came out and every 240sx became 8bajillion times more expensive than it should be...

Just saw a 97 SS 6 spd car for sale local with around 50k miles for $9,000... not bad. Bet a guy could pick it up for $8,000.

Dealers normally appear to be smoking crack with pricing because they manage to find even dumber people to buy at their prices.

What I cannot believe to this day is that people, back in the 90's paid fifty. thousand. dollars for this:

Actually looks like the ground skirts off an RS. This looks to me more of a genuine Hendrick SS:
