Default Help. LT1 wizards step inside need assistance

the other day i was driving home from work when my car started to surge. it coughed then died. I had it towed home and immediatly checked the altenator and the battery. Both came up good. Now when i try and start the car it cranks, starts to 500 rpms coughs then dies. Im also getting puffs of white smoke and the smell of gas. I just had new Fuel injectors put in wed and the car was running fine, give or take a backfire from no exhaust, till saturday. i checked all the grounds and i have no broken wires. what could be causing this please help. and if its to much to type you can call me 314-681-4348 thanks always Lgoldtop

I would lean towards either the maf or opti. My car would run great until warm and then the tach would jump. It would also surge and buck on the highway cruising in 6th gear. Turned out to be a fried opti

I replaced the coil and got it to start. It ran for about 3 mins at good idle then choked and died. I think it might be running to rich and flooding itself

Sounds exactly like 2 of my 3 otpi failures. I'm so thankful I no longer have that problem.
