Bad Port Job

I was just wondering what a bad port job looks like. When looking from the top of the head into the inside of the intake and exhaust ports, I see areas that look like too much material was removed. Should it be smooth all of the way through? I hope what I'm asking makes sense.

define "smooth" the actual texture is not that big a deal. If there are waves or big humps/dips from where a cutter got away from the porter I might be concerned. That said sometimes CNC'd heads will have some "as cast" areas left behind due to core shift, even high quality head work.
Can you take them to a professional and have them looked at?
I really don't think people describing things over the internet will help a lot and taking good pictures of such a thing is a challenge, a picture ona computer screen can be very decieving vs. what is or is not actually there.
