An LS1 fbody that clean with that mileage would be around $10-12k in the majority of markets, so give yourself a pat on the back!

If you start modding, do it tastfully and correct so you don't ruin this cherry car!
Thanks!!

My only plans are wheels, lower it some, cat back, LS1 style tail lights, and Cold air. Other then that, just drive it and enjoy it!

Beatiful car!!! Love those seats. My 97 SS has leather, but they are nowhere near as nice looking as the earlier ones like yours.

Should I have it replaced just becasue?? Or wait 'till there is a problem??

Or drive it like I stole it, and not worry becasue the Opti deal is blown out of proportion??
A stock GM Optispark will work wonders in a solid roller all Callies 396 stroker and will work even better on a stock LT1. Don't fret over the Opti, couple hours to replace with someone experienced helping you if needed.

I've got 98 LT1 several months ago here with 78,000 miles on it, moreover, the car was wrecked, had a front end accident damage and salvage title. Of course I had to repair it and spend some money but now it looks and drives as if it was new. So I think you have nothing to worry about.
