If money isn't an issue, I would get a GMMG, but I'm biased. It probably sounds better with stock manifolds than it does with headers.

Don't be discouraged when you put the magnaflow on, it will be on the quiet side for a little while. It gets louder with time, not long. The tone is perfect and very aggressive.

Money is not an issue =) at the moment, I just realized my family hates loud noise so magnaflow would be awesome. As soon as I am some distance away from my house, il open that baby up with the electric cutout =)!

I wont Im actually looking forward for the magnaflow cat, just wish I can put corsa clones as the tips rather than the ugly 3.5 inch tubes it comes in lol. Any advice on how to install corsa clones on the magna catback?

this was the same thing i was stuck on, trans ams look awesome with corsa clones, but the cost of an exhaust with dumb truck tips + ebay corsas for 140 or 3LE tips for 180 its just not very cost effective, plus the issue of tip length

Just have to find some with the correct inlet size to match up with the cat back outlets.

I would personally choose magnaflow with a cutout.

I liked the sound of GMMG, obviously. I also thought the SLP 2OTL sounded great, but they no longer make it, and I was never crazy about the appearance.

two options

there's a member selling the Magnaflow 4" dual tips with outlet pipes in the classifieds for (take a deep breath) $450... LMFAO!

or

get some corsa clones from ssclones dot com, two pieces of flared 2.5" 18" long exhaust pipe from the parts store ($8ea at my local O'Reillys), and have a good muffler shop cut off the cannons and weld the Corsas on... I cut and tacked mine on in my driveway (20min), and had the muffler shop align and weld them on (15min and $20)

shoot me a PM if you want some pics

450 wtf you can get it new for 407 with free shipping OMG why didn't I think of that (blonde moment)! Hahaha thanks dude yeah thats the way to do it. Ok as for the cutout. How big do i get it in diameter? 3 or 2.5? Where can I put it, can I try to put it in between the cat and the catback? My question is as well, if I put a cutout between the cat and the catback, wouldn't that push the whole catback more back and therefore I would have fitment issues wouldn't I?

I been hesitant for months until I realized that overall this whole setup is what I was really looking for.I want the best of both worlds, thats the price I am willing to pay XD. 407 for the catback and 220 for the cutout plus corsa clones for 140. Total sum of 767! Borla Itself cost 750+ and so does gmmg and lets not forget corsa 1000+.

if the cutout is, say, 12in long.... just have 12" of i-pipe or wherever cut out and the cutout welded in - the entire catback doesnt have to be moved back

So how big do I get the cutout? 3inches if I'm not mistaken right to match the catback diameter.

Any idea of how much this is all is going to cost me for installation lol? (catback, e-cutout,corsa clones)

Depends on the shop... If you buy everything, you can install the system yourself in an afternoon and I cannot see a shop charging more than $100 to cut and weld the tips and install the cutout
