Felpro gasket on aftermarket headers
Will the ms 95585 gasket work on jethot long tube headers? Ive searched and am getting mixed results. Some people said the "1406" gasket works and the ms 95585 doesnt...some say they both work...you get the picture.
Also can you double up header/exhaust gaskets? Not that I am going to do it, but the guy at the parts store said you could and It kind of threw me.

I would have just left haha... No don't do that, and go tell him that.
That's what I'm putting on for my header install soon. You should be fine.

IMO doubling up gaskets increases the chance of a leak because now you've doubled the surface area of the sealing faces (by putting two gaskets together the middle "seam" is a potential leak point).
Not to mention you've reduced the thread engagement of the header bolts (unless you use a slightly longer bolt).

From my experience, the thicker the gasket, the sooner it will fail and the bigger the leak.
I've done best using the stock stamped steel shims that are OEM with the manifolds. If your surfaces aren't flat enough to seal with them, or if your header flanges are too thin and distort, then you'll have problems no matter what gasket you use.
