Bringing this back. We were trying for 10's, and we're almost there. I will either have to get myself an HP tuners to at least data log the car while at the track or manually shift the car by installing a manual valve body kit. Other than that, I'm happy with the car leaving like that now and getting new best sixty--a few 1.41's and 1.42's. Significant changes since 2009 are 24X conversion w/Speed Inc tuning, S60 w/spool, FLT4L60E, FTI stall, UMI suspension pieces, Wolfe 6 pt bar, Kirkey seat, relocated batt to the right rear, Hoosier 325/50's and MorosoDS2's. It's still running the same LE set up in 2009 w/ the exception of a Moroso stud girdles. We'll get the 10's come Spring, I can feel it.

How often do you have to check valve lash on a solid roller?

Thanks Pat. You are one of the few that suggested something that really helped.

Rob, I like and don't mind at all adjusting valves. The stud girdles really helped on keeping the lash set.

Nick, post this in the main LT1 section. Not in the middle of another topic. BTW, welcome to the LTX forums.

Isn't it great not having to worry about your rear busting on the line? You're going to get your ten the next time you go I bet.
