Default Fuel sender ohms for 1997 z28... 0-88 ohms? Or what?

Just wanted to see what the fiel sending unit on a 97 Z28 are?

0 ohms = empty
88 ohms = full

My tank is full with 15 gallons of gas but gas gauge reads 3/4 full. Tested the connector coming from the sending unit and it read 66 ohms (but tank was FULL) tested the gas gauge, grounded it read EMPTY not grounded it read FULL.

Default

0-90 is the correct ohm range. Sounds like a dead sending unit to me. Sometimes cleaning the contacts will save it, but more often the entire assembly gets replaced.
