Low miles, built, plenty of horsepower, mint, and I didnt get much money back from my LS1 insurance settlement, lol..

Remember this car or something similar sometime back, believe the wheels are actually Emkie's, they were pretty popular back in the LTx days.

As much as I absolutely despise those ground effects I would have probably left them until I confirmed more history on the car. Might be something better sent to ebay for another LS1

Nice car though, you scored for sure! Curious to hear what the production was on the supercharged cars.

I got the car for $5800.00(with the miles the book value is more then that) automax was just gonna send it off to some wholesale auction so I jumped on it, the thing is absolutely MINT..is it a rare package?..did I just get a deal of a lifetime here?

**I cleaned her up, took off the shopping cart side molding, took the body kit off(even though its "part of the ZR28 package, i just cant deal with it) took off all these whack pinstripes and punisher stickers lol, very tacky. I Think she cleaned up nice
do you still have the ground effects?

I saw one back in the day, had all of the ground effects but it was a 6 cylinder ! I guess back then you could purchase a "KIT" ? I thought it looked kinda of ricey with all the ground effects on it, anyway you can PM me or call me @ 254-644-2656 for any info on those ZR28 editions, Thanks

These cars were all over the magazines of the time. When I was a teenager I had subscriptions to CHP and Super Chevy. There were full page ads for them once upon a time. The car that really stood out to me from they era was the Doug Rippe Motorsports car. DRM 400 it was called. Very cool car.

Ok, what's different about these than a regular Z28?

This thread is the first I had ever heard of them. Here is a thread from another forum.

LOL @ "STAGE 1 ZR-28 Package (350 Flywheel HP)"
I'm guessing the ground skirts are what boosted the power so dramatically? Because it sure was not the hypertech, air foil and "power pulley." In the years of the LT1 G2 cars I never saw one run very well at Ennis.
