Default CC503 Tuning/Datalogging and Injector Questions

Just got it running yesterday. Sounds like all the cuts and bruises were worth it.

Specs:

96 LT1 M6
CC503 Cam
Crane 10308-1 Dual Springs
Harland Sharp 1.6RR
Jegs EWP
Moroso CAI
Pacesetter LTs w/ORY
Magnaflow Catback
Bosch 0280155811 Injectors from L67 cars (Supercharged 3800)
OBD1 Conversion
94 b-body LT1 PCM reflashed with stock 95 f-body M6 tune
(No emissions, lowered fan temps, speedo recalibration for temporary 2.73 rear)
LT4 Knock Module

Injector dilemma:

Bosch Injector 0 280 155 811
33.71 lb/hr
354 cc/min
12.2 ohms
43.5 psi = 3 bar

Are these specs accurate? I keep hearing that these 3800 Superchaged injectors are 36# but every official spec I find says otherwise. I used the 33.71 lb/hr value in my current nearly stock tune but I just want to make sure that I'm using the right specs and not washing my cylinder walls.

Datalogging:

Here's the cut down version of a log I made using Freescan. It's just a drive around the neighborhood on my current tune (stock except injectors @ 33.71 lb/hr). I don't really give it much gas because I'm trying to get the idle/cruising tuning correct before I do any real pulls. The car is totally gutless under 2k and requires a lot of clutch slipping to get going (my 2.73 rear isn't helping).

1. Is a 0.55~ MAP reading okay for idle? I know a cam will cause an increase in MAP readings over stock but my old full bolt on setup read 0.3X which seems like a big jump for a cam that isn't super aggressive.

2. Engine hangs around 1400 RPM while coasting and surges while out of gear. I haven't played with the IAC vs. MPH and the valve itself is not OEM. Could the surging be from just a bad tune or is it an intake leak?

3. The left BLM keeps dropping and the L and R are split. One of my O2s is Bosch (oops) and the other is OEM. I'll crawl under there and find out which is which. I'm certain there isn't an exhaust leak pre O2.

Does everything look okay? Seems to run fine other than the lack of power in the low RPMs. Anyone have a model CC503 datalog they could send me for reference (or even a baseline tune)? Just want to make sure I'm not driving my car into the ground after camming it by myself. This is uncharted territory for me.

The injectors you have are in fact ~33-34 lbs. in an LT1 at 43.5 PSI rail pressure. They are listed at 36lb because the L67 3800 normally operates at a fuel pressure between 3Bar (LTx) and 4bar (LSx) fuel pressure.

Your rear end ratio and camshaft will make the bottom end response of your car pretty soggy. But that will greatly improve with some steeper gears.

Someone with a bit more tuning experience will have to chime in on the MAP sensor values.

Good luck! Sounds like a neat car.

Wish I could send you a datalog, but I'm using EFI Live as I am running the 24x. All I can add is that once the gears are changed it is a blast, I daily drive my 503 car with a 4.11 gear, made 359rwhp/362tq and generates a smile as soon as I plant my foot down.

So I hope it all turns out well for you!

I've determined that this car can't be driven below 20 mph on these gears. I almost stalled moving through a school zone earlier.

The tune and gears are to blame for that. You need 3.73s or 4.11s ASAP!

I did more datalogging today. I revised my tune slightly by advancing the idle timing to 28/30 degrees up from stock and modified the IAC vs. MPH values to only +10 at max so my engine wouldn't hang at 1400-1500 RPM when coasting. The idle was also dropped to 750 but I'm going to move it back to 800 b/c the shaking is too brutal with my poly mounts. There's no knock at all but things aren't looking good.

Unmodified CSV from Freescan:

Can someone make sense of this datalog for me? Am I misinformed because a lot of this doesn't make any sense.

At 6400 my L BLM is at 109! I though the BLMs were averages of the STFT for the same bank? The L STFTs are pretty erratic but don't read consistently low so I have no idea why the L BLM dropped so quickly.

By the end of the run my BLMs are split my more than 20~ with the left being rich and right being super lean. It jumped to 120L/142R while idling in my driveway from rows 7200-7600 in Excel. For whatever reason, the STFT for the R side were consistently high while sitting still but dropped back down to normal after a while. I have confirmed that the R side (passenger, yes?) is indeed a Bosch sensor that's about a year old and the L is OEM Delco. Is it safe to assume that it's toast? Or is there some other issue I'm overlooking.
