Default Need help... 1997 SS SLP ram air box repo or suppliers

I called SLP and they no longer make any of the SS ram air parts. Is there anyone reproducing or have NOS supplies or even used? My box is cracked and leaking air and needs a good JB Weld session but it would be nice to find a replacement.

Thanks in advance.

search the for sale forum. Someone was selling one within the last two months. Looked to be in good condition. Try the other LT1 websites as well.

It went for a lot more than I wanted to spend on a repop so I got a K&N CAI while I search for an OEM replacement.

Thank you for your service to our country Captain. I work for Bell here in Fort Worth, maker of the Kiowa OH-58, and hope you stay safe while in Afghanistan.

Thanks Mike for your help. Still looking for an OEM/NOS but have a better feeling about JB Weld...

I'm in the same boat as you. Mines not a DD so I think I'm just going to throw something custom at it. How do the filters handle the rain was my concern on mine. It's wide open.

Rain in Texas? Shirley you jest. But seriously, I haven't had any issues with the filter. Your picture shows the TA ram air hood and I think the parts are more readily available.

There's an SS air box in the classifieds right now. Not sure if it's OEM or not. I just asked for a pic, but the seller hasn't had a chance to reply yet.

Thanks for the help guys. I think it is good for an aftermarket hood/install. I would like to stay OEM if I can since my SS is a true SLP.

SLP has changed hands after they stopped making the SS's and the firehawks, Comp T/A's you cant any of those parts anymore (OEM's anyways). Dont remember when though. I wanted to get some new paper and decals long time ago is how I found out.
