Also how much seat of the pants feel would some headers make? It sounds awfully mean already. I figure for price alone it will have a bit more growl. I had a set of Pacesetters B4 on my 86 but i put em on when i put the motor in so i didn't have anything to compare it too. they worth the 280 or so. The factory exhaust manifold looks awfully restrictive so I am figuring i would def be able to tell the diff.

how do you determine if you have the trans am or the formula. i just kinda noticed i have the smaller front and rear bumpers and in between the tail lights it says firebird not Trans Am. Its a 95. no fog lights either. I just automatically figured it was a T/A with the 5.7L. is there something in the vin that says which sub model it is. or another sticker somewhere?

its probably a formula, it should have the smaller spoiler, formula badge on the doors and firebird inbetween the taillights also the ground affects kit is much less "aggressive looking" trans ams almost always have fogs if not standard. Rear bumper would look like a standard bumper and not the one with the dual exhaust spots. Also trans am convertables would have the smaller spoiler so they kinda confuse me if im looking at a TA or formula.

yeah sounds like a formula that someone changed the center fill panel on. i remember hearing 93-97 formulas having a blank filler panel.
FWIW they offered 95 trans ams with the lower spoiler (high rise like mine was a $400 option) but all trans ams had ground effects and fog lights so your's is probably a formula.
easy way to tell is to look at the RPO sticker, if it's a trans am, it will say Y82.
FWIW 93-97 formulas did not have formula badges, they had white stickers (depending on ext color maybe black) that said Formula V8. these might have been optional though and some may have just said nothing on the doors/headlight.
the formula stickers look like this.

it has trans am stickers on the doors now. but i was thinking it was prob a formula since the rear bumper looked almost like the bumper on my v6 camaro. Are these interchangeable to the Trans Am Front ends from 98-02. The real aggressive looking ones.? I am guessing i need front fenders, hood, Bumper, and the under bumper crash support(not sure what its called) and headlights?

all i have done to my 95' camaro is K&N intake and magnaflow catback + freemods and it gained quite a bit from my street tune, I take advantage of 94 octane available here in Canada so I run pretty aggressive timing. I also noticed a big gain in mpg which is a good indication your tuning is helping.
im going to dyno again this summer after i put headers on and retune, base dyno was 272whp 309wtrq, bone stock, im expecting 300whp 320wtrq after i dyno again and properly tune WOT with a wideband.
what im getting at is you can gain alot from tuning alone, i think i picked up 10-15whp.
