Its just for show and the belt is connected to nothing while the blower isn't even bolted down. Its laying on the head

There's photos of the lower portion of the blower manifold being fabbed up as well. The guy wanted a blower, so instead of cutting the manifold apart he used his crafter skills and fabbed it to work. Pretty ingenious if you ask me... Too bad it won't fit in an F-body. I am curious to see the results though.

Why not? You're basing this off what knowledge?

When was the last time you’ve seen a set-up like this?

I've seen a similar setup on an LS1. Definitely unconventional but it will work.

What does the appearance of it have to do with boost numbers? With a supercharger, boost numbers has to do with the pulley ratios and engine speed. I guess with it sitting there, you can estimate the diameter of the blower pulley, jack shaft pulley (if equipped) and the crank pulley just from the picture!

There are MANY builds like this. Go to http://www.toohighpsi.com and look at this twin supercharged Thunderbird.

Its a M122 blower, before you sound dumb again google what it can make power wise and then post.

LT1 crowd, getting younger and dumber each day.

Lol dude relax on the interpretations before you post. The trolls are getting bigger by the day. Once you start insulting people, then you just lost any credibility you had. All I posted was a set-up that ive never seen before on an LT1. No reason to get your panties in a bunch to a young blood that is use to seeing Efficient set-ups. Yes M122 blower is from my knowledge a ford blower that sits in the intake not outside, but I guess you learn something everyday. But its better then nothing... Just doesnt look right on an LT1. This blower should be on a Foxbody!

A Kenne Bell or Whipple will make some serious power.

Easily over 1000hp.

So yeah.

The M112 map on Eaton says PR of 2.0
(Oops read it as M112 not M122)

15psi is 2.02.
Know what kind of power a LT1/LS would make on 15psi?

Boost is just a reference to restriction. Thats why Hondas need 30psi to make what a V8 makes with like 10.

You're not even close. This is going to be a functional setup and the blower will be mounted exactly where you see it in the picture.

Top fuel runs the most basic of blowers, these are more efficient and don't heat everything up as much. Besides 8-12psi will wake any V8 up.

I know. Im not ******* root chargers. Just uncommon you see root chargers set-up to blow like pro-chargers. Your right though; These types of set-up dont have to suffer from heat soak like intake chargers. If this was my car I would of gone with a pro-charger and be done with it. But what do I know lol
