I am doing LS1 front brakes in a few weeks... I am going to measure my D/S and get a custom one made, and I got another digital angle finder and fine tune it again...

Finally figured it out. I bought this angle finder:
I re-installed my poly transmission mount. Transmission was pointing down 3 degrees. I set the rear to point UP 2.65-2.75 degrees. Vibration is now GONE. I have a slight vibration at 90mph.... but that is probably from everything being solid, and it is NO WHERE NEAR as bad as it used to be. THANK GOD I can't believe it took me this long to do this research and figure out how to properly set the angle. I was just setting the rear before *sigh*

Thor,
Glad to hear you finally got it. I have the same problem! I am going to install my 12 bolt first. I have an ls1 driveshaft that has also balanced. I will order the digital angle finder. How did you exactly measure for the pinion angle?
Derek
