Great thread. I bet you'll knock several tenths off with this set-up. That 4L60E 1st to 2nd rpm drop being gone will be awesome for you. Thanks for the pics of your modded crossmember. I've been thinking about finding a 9" tailshaft th350 and swapping it in place of the T56 for a few months just to play at the track. Should make for less broken parts and better 60' times. I've also considered a 4" tailshaft TH400 I already have and using the stock t56 crossmember. It's slightly shorter overall, but I have a few TH400 yokes that are longer than our normal 4L60E/T56 ones. I think I could just cut one of those down to the needed length and still run the stock length driveshaft.

we actually just fixed it yesterday......wound up being a d ring on the pump stator that had to be removed, with the dual feeding direct setup in coan's valvebody the dring has to be removed to allow the fluid to get to the direct clutch pack.......coan I guess forgot to tell us this, and when I called and asked the guy said no you leave them all..........myself and my builder went through it yesterday and realized that was the issue....took it off and bam works perfectly.............we will see when I get to the track hopefully soon but ive got to go in for some minor surgery to have a cyst removed on my tailbone so ill be out of comish for about 2-3 weeks after that cause sitting isn't so comfortable lol.......ill get it out there soon though

ok ok ok lol.......so i got to make 3 passes friday night before they kicked me out because my cage isn't certified yet.....right off the trailer it ran 9.77@138.37 on a 1.33 60' DA was right at about 600ft that was off a 1800rpm footbrake i was hesitant to put it on the brake right away and stand it up......second pass i came out on the footbrake at about 2600 chattered the tires out of the hole and ran 9.78@138.5 on a 1.35 60'......last pass i made before they booted me i tried coming out at 3000 on the trans brake.....it blew the tires off so i pedaled it to a 9.86@ 138.7 ....
gotta get the cage ceritifed and move my batt to the back then ill be out for more testing..its a totally differnt car now, i need to dive back into the suspension tuning and tire pressures along with the tune.....im confident its got a decent amount more in it we will see soon.....and fwiw the clean neutral setup from coan is the *****....thing is awesome just click it to neutral after the stripe and it coasts down nice and easy no noize no nothing its a great setup

With Santuff front shocks you can move all weight you can to the rear and control (or stop) wheel stands also stop the bounce when landing. I had QA1s, then sent them off to be re-valved, then AFCO shocks, then sent them off to be re-valved. Still bounced, still had to have weight out front (had 65lbs out in the nose) to keep the wheel stands manageable with shock adjustments. Now I have all the weight (I have a min weight to meet, I have to go across the scales every pass) to the rear for slick tracks.
