Default Intermediate pipe install

I'm trying to install a new Walker intermediate pipe for my 94 Z28 LT1. I am trying to get it over the axle and suspension, and I have had no luck. I've got the car on jack stands.

Do I have to disconnect anything to make it around the bend? Does the car have to be jacked up really high to make it fit? This is a stock replacement and I'd hate to cut it up to make it work.

I'd think you'd have to drop the rear more. Disconnect the rear shocks then the rear should drop more.

Since you are obviously not using a lift, it will make your day a butt load easier to lift car on stands remove the right rear wheel, disconnect the lower control arm, shock from deafened and pull the spring out. Slide I pipe in place then reassemble.

Thanks for the advice! I wish somebody could come up with an inexpensive portable lift or something you could rent for quick jobs like this. I just don't have the room or loot to install one.
