Man that sucks. Where was that at? Can't tell from the pics. If you haven't taken your car anywhere a friend of mine owns a body shop out on 200 near the Hess station. DON'T go to International auto body. They give stupid high quotes. A few years ago Progressive totaled my mustang they didn't want to let me buy it back but I wouldn't let it go. They finally let me buy it back for around $450 but it had a certificate of destruction so all I could do was part it out. At least I made some $ off it.

First off....make sure you are 100% alright. Don't fool yourself into thinking "I'm just a little sore and it'll go away." until you know for sure.
I've got 6 bulging discs and spinal compression that could leave me paralyzed if my back gets hurt again. Pain is something I've just had to learn to live with all the time. I quit going to therapy and dropped my case and went back to work because as a single dad I couldn't afford the lost income and all while waiting on their insurance to pay anything. It really sucks that I didn't get a penny (my own car wasn't involved) but it's what I had to do for my family. Hopefully whatever your case...you can wait them out and get what's yours.
Secondly.....if they won't pay you what your car is worth the way it was prior to the wreck....mods and all......then I'd do like someone else said and pull anything you can sell off of it. No matter what they tell you, it is still YOUR car until they give you a check and you accept it/sign stuff.

This shows the rear damage better.

Maybe you can get the $$ and buy a clean/mostly stock z28 and swap everything over from yours. Red is the most common color so you can probably find one the paint would even match on. You might come out with a whole spare stock drivetrain, awesome parts car, and a car to drive that hasn't been in a bad wreck for less money than getting yours fixed. On craigslist I've seen a couple nice red LT1 z28's for sale near me recently in the $1200-1500 asking range due to mechanical problems. One said it needed head gaskets.....the other said there was a knock in the engine.
