And removing the ecu isn't great either . Made to make the car run better keep te fuel mixture good and keep from leaning out .

One last thing . Even with 300lbs removed which idont know where that weight came from at most following rule of thumb that's 3/10ths of a second . Also a cam doesn't make up for ten cars difference . And I had a passenger . I'm goin based off what already happened no saying what's gonna happen soon to come but you didn't shave off another second even two with a simple cam swap

And his stock lt1 doesn't have slp loudmouth cat backs unless its a shitty version because its only single pipe single tip out the back. And did he mention his car doesn't even have a title.

I never use 87. If I use 87 it knocks. And my car had a fucked up tranny a 650 Holley that wasn't even for the car and completely stock when you claim you pulled on me. You were only 3 cars ahead and my car kept down shifting to first gear because of the fucked up lockdown which is now remover. And it's carbureted it has nothing to do with the air fuel ratio when the things wide open. It's all in the metering rods and jets that are used. And since the day the engine was built the car has never used lower then 93

The 301 Turbo may give it a run. Most of the older LT1 cars are dogs. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Trans Am pull up top.

Especially when the lt1 is 130000 miles and has a clogged cooling system. And a trans cooler that's hooked up with 35 male adaptors a 2 females. And the kid can't even drive. He lost to a gti and then crashed his car as the excuse of why he lost

i have a 81 turbo formula firebird and if the guy with the turbo trans might have a chance and as for the turbo cars being dogs i know of a couple that run under 14 sec and one that runs 11 with stock exhaust manifolds stock heads intake Etc they are decent cars not to mention the 6.6 would get them of the line but the 301turbo would reel them in once they got moving and every one that does a 455 swap is throwing away a piece of history.
Thanks,William

Should be a fun race. Best part of it is both cars will still have issues keeping up with the flow of traffic.

I agree. I have the same mods as this guy running a 14.8 plus the cam and weight reduction http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bUsqf28e6pQ&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DbUs qf28e6pQ
And I also have many other mods like carb and timing. The only reason the lt1 would win is if he shifts into 4th gear which I do not have. And plus I do have a 455 in the process of being built but I plan on using the worked 301 turbo in my s10 and having a street monster and using a turbo setup with an intake adaptor on the 455. At least I'm still keeping the Pontiac heritage unlike the guys swapping in sbcs because there cheap and don't understand pontiacs
