Default Lid install completed

Took quite a bit of grinding on the base, but got the thing installed. Couldn't tell much by sotp, but hopefully it will pick up some when I finally get the car tuned and get to go to the track. Looks like I will finally be running at the ltx shoot out instead of spectating....

I picked up a solid 2 tenths and 1.8 MPH when I did my lid conversion and that was over the Morison cai that was on my Z....... Good job bro.
You will feel the difference on the top end of the track especially with a 6 speed

Car is running way to lean right now at wot and I can't get my tunercat to recognize my car to make any adjustments, so right now no testing. I wish I installed my wideband years ago, I think it is one of my favorite mods to this day. And btw mines a 3 speed

I love having a lid on my car as well, I did more trimming to make mine fit but did not use the base either. Make things so much easier to just pop the lid up and take the filter out for cleaning etc.

I wanted to keep the base, so I spent a lot of time trimming the base and grinding it. Didn't have to cut on the car at all, which was a major plus. Contemplating taking my ftra off of my 00z and putting on my 94z right now....
