I have there pump and hot wire kit as well. I just recently installed the hotwire kit though. I had a issue with mine. I e-mailed them to ask a question on what i thought the problem was. There response back was to post on their forum, so i did. Guess what they responded back. "Check your wiring" and "Here are some schematics to look at." Luckly i was able to figure it out because they were no help what soever.

How much do a couple of black and white laser printer instruction sheets cost???? Give me a break. That is just business...and exactly what is wrong with this country. **** he could probably out source the instructions to china and get them cheaper. Why not just print them off at Staples since you don't sell that many of them.

Sometimes it takes people a while to learn you normally get what you pay for.
Clothes at Wal Mart are cheaper, but seldom last as long. Don't know until you buy better. Don't know any better until you buy better.

Same with most things in life. Sometimes you get lucky, but......

I bought their kit a few years ago, but haven't installed it. If I ever do install the kit, I'm kinda hoping I don't need any help from Racetronix. The attitude towards their customers displayed in that B-Body thread seems a bit shocking to me.

I ordered a pump and bulkhead wiring from them at 1:10pm est on I think Monday. Just before 10:30am est Tuesday I had a package in my hand. It came from Ontario to New Jersey in under 12 hours paying for 3 day select service. I thought that was pretty cool. Sure its not them shipping it but clearly they expedited the packaging etc and got my order here faster than I thought possible.

I just installed my Racetronix fuel pump/wiring on my '97 WS6 and everything went perfectly. No problems at all and everything was supplied in the packaging, along with very detailed instructions. Are the plugs/wiring different for B-Bodies and F-Bodies?

What is the best option in your opinion for upgrading the fuel pump in these cars?

Yes. The pump basket is different as well. In his kit you have to install a new connector, move some wires around and hope for the best.

The f-bodies have a bigger base of manufacturers to choose from. The B-body guys are limited to his drop-in kit or fab up their own kit utilizing and external set up. So, in my case, once this is up and running and I'm ready to bolt the nitrous back on and what-not. My fab guy is going to either fab up an aluminum cell to fit in stock location or we're going to devise something since my tank is plastic. Some type of bulkhead connector. The pump assy will stay to retain the sending unit for the gauge.

The good part is, there's a nice, complete 95 Caprice that just came into our local pull a part. So the donor tank will be coming home this weekend. Already scoped it out.

Bosch for a street car. Ford used them. I use Aeromotive in my race car. 255 Walbro first. Lasted only a couple of races. Aeromotive since 2005. No hot wire bull ****. Same wiring. My shop also had way too many comebacks related to Walbro pump installs. Went back to AC Delco for GZm vehicles and Ford Bosch pumps for Fords. Chrysler comes with Walbro pumps, if that tells you anything. They don't all fail, of course, but a higher percentage that any other brand we installed over the 41 years I had my shop open. I would never put one in anything. Two years for a fuel pump is nothing.

Thanks, I wasn't aware Bosch made a fuel pump for our application. We're talking in-tank, right?

What do you have that requires a big pump? 90% of you would be fine with a new stock GM pump that would out last a couple of walbros.
You would have to adapt something like a BMW, Mercedese, etc, in-tank pump. AC Delco has a catalog listing GPH & running pressure, find something that fits your specs if you actually have something that needs it. Don't buy an AC Delco, I found out the hard way that if it isn't for a GM vehicle it is a re-boxed Walbro. LOL

I made over 530 NA with my old 383" at the tires through a 4400 RPM non-lock up converter, ran nines at over 135 MPH, and could still make it smoke black at the finish line if I wanted to with the factory fuel pump, lines & rails. Unless you have a lot more than that you are throwing your money away. Spend it on something that will actually make your car faster. I have an Aeromotive external pump now, but NHRA makes me run a fuel cell.
