WHICH INJECTORS?! for 383
Decided to get 32, 36 or 42lb injectors for my newly finished 383 lt1 build. The part that is confusing me is which brand/make injectors i should get and what will work! I see bosch, delphi, TRE, and even ford racing injectors. will the ford 39lb injectors work? Also, what is your guys thoughts on used injectors such as these:

I put 42# injectors in my 383 build which is plenty for what it is, I would make sure they are flow tested and cleaned if you are buying used ones.
Something like these:

those ones from tlf look nice but the starting bid is at 190 bucks. i was looking to spend around 150-200 bucks. The ford ones i posted are 39lb and came off a car with only 7k miles on it and were flow matched. what do you guys think about these?

If you are choking on $200 for injectors then how much of a joke is the stroker build? Cast Eagle crank? Maybe some lead pistons? 10:1 compression?
Far as what injectors to get, there is more to injectors than just the size rating, ask your tuner what he likes because it will be easier for him to dial it in if he is familiar with the stuff you buy.

Talk to your tuner. There is more to it than typing in the lbs per hour flow rating.
He has to have tuned the brand & flow rate in person to have developed injector off set tables, etc, for that particular injector. Buy good injectors, not off-brand cheap ****. Bosch, Delphi, Lucus only. Accel are now Bosch. Used to be junk.
Ford are Bosch.
Required flow rate, like many other things, depend on power levels. Around 450 rwhp will be OK with 30 lbs. 500+ need more.
And, that 85% duty cycle limit so many talk about is simply Internet message board bull ****.

I'm not sure the '03-'04 Cobra injectors have the same connector, (can't remember the name) but I know the GTP, Buick Ultra, Bonneville SSEI injectors will work. Any S/C 3.8 that is.

And NA or boosted make this different how?
Do you know that duty cycle you see on a scan tool is never correct at higher RPM? That it is only a calculation, not an actual measurement?
Try checking that actual injector pulse width with a fast DSO, and you will find the scan tool numbers are way high. Know what a DSO is? Digital Storage Oscilloscope. You need afast one, cheap ones update too slow.
Look at the injector pattern, and measure the actual pulse width. 85% on a scan tool is usually well under 80%.

Lots of actual NHRA racers run their actual, not scanner, duty cycles in the mid-high 90s with no issues.
Many people preaching differently also sell injectors.
Btw, there is power to be had raising fuel pressure with smaller injectors than just larger injectors.
Ie: 36 lb injectors at 60 psi flow 42lbs, but made 5 more rwhp in my car than 42 lbs at 45 psi. A-B-A testing (Back-to-back-to-back), same day without moving the car off the dyno. Smaller injectors at higher pressures atomize the fuel better. Main reason why GM went to 60 psi with the Vortec & LS engines.
