i have a 94 Camaro z28 that has a ses light on and when I went to jump a and b terminal with a paper clip it would not work or blink but fans would come on. then I tried the cheap 32 dollar GM OBD1 plug in scanner did the same thing no light and no blinks. then I would try it again the ses light would come on and waited for 5 mins and light would not blink but come on with the fans running. This is starting to get me ticked off. is this a Computer being bad? intermitting wiring problem that's common?

Anyone that has had this problem that can help I would be gratefully appreciate it.

you bought a $32 paperclip that wont work on a 94 despite what some manuals say.
When I say paperclip you literally can use a paperclip instead of that peice of plastic on vehicles that will flash the code, but again this vehicle will not.

You need a scanner with a display.

I have a 94 T/A with check engine light on, Same thing turn key plug in paperclip, fans come on light stays solid no flash......

That old "trick" won't work on these cars. You have to use a real scan tool.

I believe that will only work on the 93's.
