Thanks dude. To be honest, unless I get the exhaust issue figured out, I may end up changing the setup a lot to a turbo later on.

The motor is built for much higher boost than I am putting through it. The fuel system would support it (possibly bigger injectors?), I already have meth injection and a large FMIC.

So, I'd be looking at the turbo, the hot and cold parts (which I know people that could fabricate that at a great price), and another tune?

And I have a good shaped D1SC with all its components, an expensive tensioner, Kooks 1 7/8 headers I could all sell for more than I see the parts and labor of going turbo would cost.

It's just a thought, and I would contemplate it at bare minimum over the winter, but I don't really enjoy cruising around in the car anymore, and if I can't enjoy it for why I built it, something will need to change.

I did enjoy beating some VERY fast cars with it though

I prefer races from a dig actually. Oh wait, you only care about track times.

Std. and SAE numbers puts me closer to my guess then LOL

How is it an exhaust issue? Did you have this issue ever before? Assuming the issue your talking about is it blowing off?

2 fixes

1. vband y-pipe to headers

2. fix decel fueling tune-up (the exhaust shouldn't blow a flame or glow red)

I've got the corrected numbers from Mike. Actual corrected RWHP was 696, so you were even further off in your guess (lol).

The new heads just push so much more air that t was LOUD. I just put a different plate in the Borla. It's very enjoyable now. I think I'll probably end up doing cutouts down the road.

Dyno numbers are honestly worthless anyway fun to know that's about it!

Exhaust changes will change a tune fyi The old saying is "Tune a car how it will be and leave it alone" should be follow IMO

I have datalogging capability, so I'll see how or if it changes much. If it changes a bit after the cutouts I may take it back so Mike can "adjust as necissary". I don't know how much difference cutouts would make with the tune vs where it was with the big plate.

I had a few bugs to work out, but it seems to be running like a champ now. I'll be taking it to the track for the first time since the new combo and tune tomorrow, so we will see how it does.

My spoiler is similar to the RK sport one. I actually bought my spoiler from a small company in Michigan that went under shortly after I bought it, so unfortunately you are not going to find my exact one to buy anymore. If you still want some still pics let me know.

Yes, some still pix would be a help. Your car is moving too fast in the videos.

Thx CALL, i see a tail light in there too. The larger spoilers seem to be a better match for the big dumb bumper cover below it than anything i can find. Best look for least effort but man RK wants nearly $500 for theirs.

Have u seen any RK large spoilers? How does your compare to the RK? Must be very similar.

I've never had the RK Sport spoiler so I don't know the exact differences past what I can see in pics. Like I said they are similar. I think the angle on shape on mine is slightly different than the RK.

Ok i found a pic of the RK spoiler: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...-question.html. It doesnt look as good from the rear as it rides on top the stock spoiler and doesnt quite blend well enough - kinda amature copy of the Sonoco spoiler. But it looks fine from the front.

I believe your spoiler was a "Heritage" mfr? I think yours looks better from the rear as it doesnt show as much of the stock spoiler below it.

I have a white car and should be okay but that type of spoiler needs a loud color like a yellow or orange.
