If you bought a sensor and that didn't fix it, then you bought a gauge and that didn't fix it, you should buy a supercharger and see if that fixes it!

Lol, yes. THAT would be the way to figure it out.

Excellent advice, throw a P1 on there and crank the boost!

A P1!?? Why would I do that? All I would need is a P600.

Boost gauge problem fixed. It would seem there was a vacuum line not attached correctly.

Another problem fixed, and another one presented itself. I have a leaky Moser 12 bolt. Just ordered an axel seal (that's not bad), and a pinion seal (leaking not bad enough to prevent driving for the next day or so, but will need to be fixed within this week).

I also got good daytime footage of today's test runs. Once I get a chance to upload it, I'll post it.

FYI I don't normally work upside down like that.

The Boost gauge issue wasn't so much of a vacuum line issue as it was a "items in the vacuum line issue". Ben had previously had installed a check valve to keep the vacuum canister for the HVAC from seeing boost and popping a hole. Last night I was thinking about it and it donned on me that I saw the boost gauge vac line hooked up to the backside of the check valve. Made perfect sense given the gauge was registering vacuum just fine. A simple T-fitting and a cap for the back of the check valve, and all is well in boost gauge land.

I may have yelled, but I made Ben leave a brown stain on the passenger seat when I drove it today. Just sayin'.

I got a video of the test. I didn't take it with the purpose to make a good vid, but I will later.

Sean, the seat has been cleaned. Someone made a mess there

It might have been me last weekend while videoing actually. I'm probably obligated to clean in since there's no way anyone would shat themselves in your car after riding in that insane Typhoon.

Yeah, I gotta stop posting pics from my phone. Every time I do, they are upside down. Sorry.

The rear end leak has gotten very bad. So bad, I don't feel comfortable driving it anymore. The good news is I have the seal in hand and already got it prepped for a morning fix. What a mess it made!

Meh. The car wasn't built for time slips (it was never my goal to go xx.x at 1xx MPH). That being said, I do plan on taking it to the track and seeing what it'll do. The next chance I'll have is maybe next weekend (Sunday).

What I DID build it for is to reak havok on the streets. Which I plan on doin in full this evening

Much footage recorded last night. Be patient though. It's gonna take a while for me to edit and post it. A week or so tops, but definitely good stuff. The fun I had last night is WHY I built the car
