2013 LTX/LSX Shootout 1.5 Cecil County Dragway Nov 16th Mike V, Myself, and a bunch of other guys went down there last 2 November's. This year we are planning it a little better and a bunch more people are going.
You seriously will run 2 or 3 tenths faster at this track then from any other track. This is just a fun event some side bets and grudge matches but just a regular Test and Tune. If you are going to run a personal best it will be at this track at this time of year. A few records may be broken both LSX and LTX. Scored another 10 bolt with 3.42s I'm picking up Sunday, ill be ready for the 16th, driving my car up with my buddy's new 95 formula m6 following me. I sold my slicks and gave back the skinnys to my friend, so the 295/35/18s on all 4 corners will have to do. Might shed the interior and a few more lbs to get closer to 3100 race weight, but still hoping to get enough traction combined with less parasidic loss compared to the 9" (and to overcome my 4th gear missing habit) to beat my 12.39 missing 4th last year. Still don't have enough firepower to outgun Tony, but I'm excited for a fun day again, hope to see a bunch of you guys there!

Life happens. It's hit or miss for me as well. I've invited a bunch of former f-body brohs that I used to hang with. They've all said they'd show, but who knows... I'd like to get a run in this season before the track closes.

It's just as well anyway. Real shitty day for racing with humidity being at one million. I'm going to try and hit up MIR on 11/24. Probably be out of control busy, but I'd like to get a run in before the season is out. Supposed to rain tomorrow.

My brother is driving down in his freshly dyno tuned street sweeper cammed ws6 for the 24th so well be at MIR too, I'm hoping to run tomorrow, with the threat of rain it shouldn't be crowded, and it's only a 20 minute drive for me so if it rains NBD.

Good news about MIR this coming weekend is it'll be a high of 35* which is great for us slow folk. Bad news is there will be a 21mph wind in a NW direction which is almost a headwind with the way the track is. Not sure I want to deal with that ****.
