96 z28 lt1.. help chose cam?

I built a LT1 for my friend with a 93 Z28. I used stock heads ported by TEA, one of their cams, IIRC its 230/236, don't remember the lift. Stock TB, stock intake, CAI, MAC mid length headers, 3000 9.5 Vig stall w/ 3.73's. It runs 8.0's in the 1/8 on Nitto NT05R's. The car has sportline springs and bilstein shocks, bone stock suspension.
It has a mail order tune from PCMsforless. With a little more converter and some suspension work I think it would go 7.6-7.7's.
As mentioned buy the best converter you can. A good 9.5 converter drives pretty much like stock.
