Differences in steering box ratios?

Differences in steering box ratios? So my steering box has always been on the sloppy side, we've played with the adjuster screw but with minimal improvements, at 167k its safe to say its worn out. From what I hear a ws6 box is a nice upgrade, with a better ratio, but I haven't seen much info on 4th gens, seems to be more of a 2nd or 3rd gen thing. So are the ratios of my 94 transam the same as all v8 fbodies throughout the years? 1le, b4c, firehawk, etc? I know there's a optional power steering cooler, its only 20 bucks but if I'm not carving up parking lots in autox I doubt that would be needed. So yeah whats the difference in steering box ratios on certain option packages?
Rockauto has ACdelco remans for like $130 + core and they come with new inner tie rods. It lists which steering ratio is which. The one with the heart (their most popular seller) is the one you want. It's 4 1/4 turns from lock to lock whereas the v6ers are 4 3/4 lock to lock.
Mine has a slight leak and both boots are torn so I'm thinking about getting one too.

Yeah no leaks over here but on the highway ive got about 1.5 inches in either direction in the steering that doesn't steer the car anywhere. Rockauto was the first place Ive looked

hmm ill have to look into that. I just remembered it was my 87 monte carlo i kept playing with the adjuster screw on the steering box, this has a rack, not sure if they adjust the same. Yeah gotta look at the rack to see if there's a way to remove slack or the rag joint. If there's only v6 and v8 steering racks might as well try and salvage mine.

Verdad Gallardo Unbalanced Eng. They're a great company, if you don't feel like re-clocking a ls1shaft then that is the way to go. Either option ends up being about the same price IIRC..
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have a related question.
Let's say(theoretically) you've got a road coarse car. You've done everything suspension wise, and now it's extremely quick through the twisties. If you could lower the steering ratio, would it help on the road course? Quicker turn in and all that.
