Default Charcoal Canister Delete Question

Quick question about deleting the charcoal canister on my 96 SS.

I have read a bunch about it on quite a bit of threads but could not find my answer exactly. What I'm wanting to know is if I remove the canister I am left with a feed, return, vent and the evap lines coming out of my sending unit, if the evap is deleted along with the canister do I now have two vents?

I see a bunch of people say to insert a breather filter on the evap, I'd assume just run a small section of rubber hose off the sending unit hard line with the breather on the end? The vent on the sending unit is currently setup the same but with no breather filter (been like this sense I bought the car). Does this sound right or am I missing something?

Thanks!

I'm not sure why you'd need to delete the EVAP system. It's pretty much a benign device, and if the lines are still on the car, why not keep it hooked up?

Why exactly are you wanting to delete it?

It's not needed or in use at this time, just dead weight. Not worried about the smell, it's more of a race car. I have no emissions stuff on my car. At this point the canister is just being more of a filtered vent if I put the correct. I'm no expert that's why I'm seeking advice on this subject.

Only line from sending unit to canister still installed. no vacuum line from intake.

I'm in the process of installing PTFE lines and I'm just trying to cleanup the area back there.

when I pulld mine I just left the one way valve and the small t that are near the canister. Not sure if its needed and I was kinda confused about all the hoses to and from the can....but it seems to be working fine.
I'll prolly put a small filter on later.
