Need cylinder head info, built YSI setup
Running a 388 solid roller YSI setup. This motor is built strong but I was gonna keep stock heads and just had them machined. Well after breaking in motor we are noticing a hair line crack in the cylinder head. I already went too far with the setup and honestly should of just bought aftermarket casting to begin with. It's got a big solid roller cam, shaft mounts rockers, Built T400 with 12 bolt 373 spool. So out of AFR, Dart, and Trick Flow 200, 205,215 ect ect what do y'all recommend. Also I'm interested in buying used heads possibly. Also there is advanced induction and a few others in my part of the east coast. Mostly drag racing is what this car will be used for and YSI is on cog belt around 19psi. Any info to help me make a decision or point me somewhere who has something for sale too. Thanks jake

Are they gonna come as good as they need to be out if the box or should they be gone through? I know a little about cylinder heads but only enough to get me into trouble. Thanks for the info. Jake

Your going to need to know what spring pkg is required for your cam. I would get with your engine builder or a good head guy and get there recommendation. They also could go with a bare head and build it for your combo.
