Touching oil dipstick changes idle???
First here is some info on the car. '97 Trans Am, 383ci LT1 with 9:1 Forged rotating assembly, stock heads minus valve springs for 206/212 comp cam, Procharger D1SC spec'd for 15 psi, intercooler, #80 lb Bosch injectors, PCMFORLESS tune, 255lph walboro fuel pump (hardwired), shorty headers, built 4L60E, full suspension, MSD ignition box, and probably some other small stuff im missing.
Here's my problem(s), Every time I drive the car I get about a 1/4 mile down the road and SEC light comes on with a MAF code and car goes into speed density mode. My first MAF was actually bad and replaced it and the pig tail, which helped because the car would not even idle after starting before. If you just let the car sit and idle after clearing code it idles and revs perfectly. While messing around trying to solve this problem I bumped the dipstick and noticed the idle sort of skip. So I jiggled it and it almost killed the car. Then when I shut the hood to take it for a spin it did the same thing, idle skipped bad enough to almost stall it. I opened the hood and jiggled the ECM with same result. The only thing I can think of is a bad engine ground maybe??? Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Also I'm open to any input about the MAF code issue as well, haha

It sounds like the symptom of a loose ground.......
Or maybe a spark plug wire touching or bouncing into the dip stick or an exhaust manifold pipe......Make sure the spark plug wires and boots are not touching anything and cannot touch anything while the car is being driven.
