Default More Horsepower for a '96 Trans Am

I finally bought my Pacesetter LT headers with the A.I.R fittings. I have plans to purchase the CC503 Cam, just want to know at this point what else am I missing? I'm gonna go on Alex's Parts to buy the LT-1 Valve spring kit that will include: Springs, Retainers, Locks & Cups. (Here's the link so you guys can take a look and just give me any opinions on it. http://www.alexsparts.com/lt1-valve-...rs-locks-cups/) I don't race a lot since my bird is my daily and I need a functioning car for work and school but usually do race on the weekends though. I just need to know my next step what would it be. Thank You in advance.. (I do have a CAI too.)

Other then the obvious you mentioned and get a good tune. I would get gears to take advantage of that cam. I know you said a daily driver if your an M6 you can go with 3.90 if your A4 do stall, gears and tranny cooler.

Yes, I have an A4. What would be a good a set of gears and a good stall converter? I thought about going to PCM for Less for a tune.

3.73's are good for A4 cars. Also on my next tune I will be using PCMforLess as well. They are very good. On the stall I wouldn't go to aggressive since you want to daily drive it. Some people think certain stalls are extreme to others its not enough. I'm sure people who have done a stall will chime in to give there experience. I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to stalls.

dont forget lifters and 1.6 rr rockers would be nice

-1 piece hardened pushrods
-full roller rockers (NSA)
-studs (7/16 preferred)
-guide plates
-timing set
-stock lifters aren't bad if the mileage isn't crazy
-gaskets
-tune
-stall for an auto, gears for m6

I would shim those springs a little bit as well. The open pressure is alright but could be better.

Reuse the stock lifters if you can, LS7s have too many issues. NSA rockers, guideplates and 7/16 studs will give a nice stable valvetrain up to the rod bolt "happy" limit of 6500

Hey i went with a 3200 stall lock-up in my car mods in sig, car drives good don't know i even have a stall. I also went with PCM Forless no problems at all.Like you i am thinking about going with a CC503 cam. What gears are in your car now? 373's are good for the A4's my car has 323's i am leaving them for now. Good luck with your car.
