Default Oxygenated Fuel? Is it worth it?

Been hearing some good things about oxygenated fuel.. But how would it react in an LT1 if I were to just pour some in my empty tank?

thats a new one on me. We have ran addatives such as Propylene oxide in some of our old gas burner pulling tractors few years ago.

If your gas contains ethanol, it has been oxygenated. If it doesn't contain ethanol, it has probably been oxygenated via MTBE.

MTBE may actually be against the law in the US now. I believe ethanol has served as the primary replacement.

You won't pick up any up if you don't account for the extra fuel you have to feed it because it's oxygenated. .. kind of have to laugh at the pump gas stuff mentioned , now a days because If it does contain ethanol which is commonly referred to as e10 because it's 90% gas 10% ethanol , it's oxygenated but ain't nothing to call oxygenated.

C45
Q16
E85 are all very oxygenated and will make more power over standard pump gas If tuned properly. ..

Would I go switching over to a race gas that's oxygenated? No, not for the money your going to shell out.. C45 is 22 a gallon, q16 is like 17 a gallon, ms109 I believe is around 13 a gallon

E85 is the cheapest and best alternative If your hell bent on trying an oxygenated fuel. ..

The propleyne oxide is some nasty nasty ****. Causes cancer big time and has a extremely low evap point, it burns off at like a 100 and something degrees. ... that stuff is banned big time but it makes some great power from what I have read on the bullet.

To answer your original question , no your car will not pick up just purely pouring it in.
