Awesome numbers. With that race weight of 3300 it should fly. Easy low 10's as long as the 60ft is sub 1.45's. Looking forward to some track times.

Real clean.

Bit confused by your coil setup...are you running two on the front and two on the back of each head, I only see 4???

Thanks.. It's a wastefire coil setup. It fires 2 cylinders at a time once every 360 degrees of crank rotation. It is sequential fuel injection because of the 1x cam sensor in the distributor hole.

Badass setup. Looks great. That coil pack setup is nice! Making me rethink my setup (single coil, crank trigger, cam sync and FAST XFI). These cars suck to work on even when all the accessories are gone. BTW, what are those huge AN fittings going to on the driver's side?

Went to the track for test n tune yesterday. Had some really lean areas in the tune below 3000 RPMs that we didnt tune on the dyno. Couldnt even do a burn out first pass.. The car was falling flat on its face when WOT from the line.

I started making changes to the VE tables.. 4th pass it is cleaning up and didnt bog, just ripped the tires off. Lots of work left to do in the tune. A/F was 10.5 - 11.5 over 3000 RPMs down the track.

Best pass went like this.. Staged, Went WOT, ripped tires off, let out, rolled back in it, and this was the result -

Density Altitude 3000+ ft

2.07 ---- 60 ft
5.07 ---- 330 ft
7.48 ---- 1/8
102.16 - MPH
9.55 ---- 1000 ft
118.17 - MPH
11.29 -- 1/4
130.02 - MPH

Looking at the data I have from the previous setup is showing a lot of potential and the tune is nowhere near done. In worse air I dropped 2 tenths on the back half and picked up 4 MPH. from the 330 to the 1/8 I dropped 1 tenth, and to the 1/8 I picked up 3 MPH.

My biggest regret is changing some suspension settings and switching tires from M/T radial to Hoosier radial before getting the new setup worked out. I am now fighting traction and tuning issues at the same time.

Thanks! The one downside of those coils is you cannot tune spark advance on one cylinder. If you retard/advance timing on cylinder 1, it also effects cylinder 6. With a 8 coil setup you can tune timing for each cylinder. The -10 fittings are going to a remote oil filter mount. No room for a 1q filter with the LPP's.

You're trapping 130 through a stalled auto on motor so the power is definitely there.

Going to be fun dialing in the tune and suspension at the same time!

Cool! That car should move OUT, when the tune/suspension gets ironed out.

Thanks guys! The car feels really good once it gets moving! Once the tune is real close in the low RPM, and it is hooking I will start leaning it out a little at a time. The 112 should make best power in the 13+ AFR range.

Don't let anybody tell you that setup will make more power than what you have now. Won't happen.
A properly done dyno tune should not have been that far off at the track. His wide band may be that far off the one on the dyno. I had several across my dyno that had Innovate WBs installed. Most were way off mine, both ways. Best to see what it shows on the dyno, compared to the one on the dyno.

My wideband was reading .3 - .5 richer on the dyno. We tuned it at 12:1 using his wideband. The car was breaking up a little on the top end first pass and showing as low as 10:1. I leaned it out 2% and ended up with 10.5 - 11.5. Focused on low RPM stuff after that. It is running open loop, and dyno tuned in 25* cooler air. We anticipated more tuning at the track. It wasnt supposed to be a full tune..

Gotta get the motor in the car first!

Just ordered some double adjustable rear coilovers, adjustable LCAs, and a new torque arm from Midwest Chassis.. looking to make it to test n tune again in 2 weeks. We'll see when this stuff shows up.

BIGSmokey gave me some suspension settings to try.. should be hooking good at least.

Nice! Get that sixty down a little more and your golden. I see that combo knocking into the 9 sec door. Are you letting the trans shift electronically, or are you manually shifting it? How big is your 8" stall converter?
