Thanks! Felt good to make a full pass with no real issues... Trans shifts itself, 5800 stall. Motor is shifting around 7700, which is higher than I want, but actual shift points are unknown Limiter is set to 7850. Data logs are garbage, not sure whats going on.. it flat lines at WOT. Looking at what is there from the run (first 25 MPH) it looks like it shifted into 2nd at 10 MPH....

Here is what I am working with lol.. It picks back up after the finish line...

Holley Dominator EFI.. will run a 4l60e, or 4l80e. I can command shifts up to 15000 RPM.

Thanks. I will have to see about getting one of em'. Hows your trans holding up on those rpms? You must be refreshing them after every season.

The trans has been together for over 4 years.. I pulled it apart before the new motor went in and everything looked great. I put the rest of the anti apply springs in for the 3-4 piston, modified the valve body/input shaft for the non lockup converter, installed a new valve/modified oil passage to bring the over run clutches on in manual 1 and 2. Thats it..I built it with ProBuilt parts and the hydraulics were modified by Dana back when my trans took a **** with a bolt on car.

It only was turning 7100 RPM with the last motor, so I am not sure how its going to like the abuse its going to get this year. It will be back apart this winter to check everything out.

Congrats on the great times! You should get some 9.8's in the fall air no problem. You have made great progress in a short time.

Congrats Chris! Some motor tweaks and maybe a bit more chassis tweaking and it'll go a low low 10 high 9 in this 80 degree weather ! Then let that 40 degree air get breathing in that motor and it's game on

Thanks Kyle! It has been a huge help having suspension settings that work so I can get good data on what the motor likes. Lots of testing to do now..

Yea pretty much year round.

Even though the track altitude is nice though, its so damn hot and humid for most of the year that we still end up with 2500+ DA.

Once it cools down though its in the negative hundreds .

Living in FL is definitely a double edged sword when it comes to racing. Plus it makes it really hard to want to part with your AC system racecar or not LOL
