Default Opinions please

Okay I am about to tear into my motor and start stripping it down. I want to get rid of all emissions stuff and extraneous (sp?) stuff so the car will be lighter. Here are the things I'm thinking of so far:
-A/C Delete w/ 1LE conversion
- Eliminate AIR Pump
- EGR removal....any instructions?????
- Bumper support Removal....how do I do this?
-Jack and spare tire
- All seats removed and two race seats w/ harnesses going in
-Front Sway Bar removal
Am I missing anything.....any tips to get the stuff off would be much appreciated....I got a bunch of mods going on at one time....plus some suspension work going in too....LCA's, Hal rear shocks, Spohn Rear Drag Sway Bar, Aluminum Driveshaft and loop. Also which kind of springs should I put on the car to let it sit nicely over the Bogarts or Welds yet still launch good. Sorry to be so long I am just getting excited about this project

Stereo
interior panels
Carpet and insulation < that stuff can add up big time!

the aftermarket K member and other things will cut down front weight of the car significantly, i need to find the site that listed all the parts

good luck on your drag racer!

EGR is two bolts, just remove it from the back drivers side of the intake and put a plate over it.

The entire EGR Sys. goes in the trash.. Program it outta the puter as well.. Don't forget to take out the condensor, evap can, and alot of the a/c line's.. Lots of space is gained.. I wouldn't recommend taking out the bumper support!! Unless!! your plan is to drag race only! if by chance you get into a lil fender bender.. It won't be so lil and could possibly mess up a few other things!! Its only 20lbs.. Rather than take it off.. Just make more HP to negate it
