Got my bilsteins in and the new umi LCA's in. Only prob was when trying to use my founders relo brackets. When mounted the control arms were at least a half inch too short from reaching either two holes on the relo brackets. Even when jacking the rear up and down, still a no go! So of course I was ticked and just mounted the LCA's to the original mounting hole on the rear end and they lined up perfect. So much for my cool lca downward angle that I wanted.

Sticking with my none adjustables. Its to bad nothing bolts up like it supposed too.

 

I have, well had, non adjustable LCA and they fit the bottom hole on my relo brackets.

Did you call the company that made the brackets?

 

When I initially installed mine from founders, I did it AFTER I did weld in 3. SFC's and it was pretty much impossible to get the bolt to go through the SFC, the LCA, and the mounting bracket on the car... It seemed to be around a 1/2" away from it, you really have to man handle it with a hammer and a punch, all while being careful not to strip the threads on the bolt.
OP: make sure and use some white lithium grease on the bushings and as well put grease in the fittings on the bottom of the LCA.

 

Update! I haven't called founders yet about the fitment. However I got the umi panhardbar on "non adjustable" and it lined up perfect! LCA's lined up perfect without the relo brackets. Bilsteins are on! I lubed everything up with super grease, had to order it. Took the car for a 30mile drive. What a difference! Hooks up 80% better. Car stays perfectly straight when accelerating, handles bumps great. No more spinning through second gear, horrible wheel hop, and car swaying side to side and jerking sideways over bumps. Umi/bilstein stuff works great!!!!!

 

If you are not lowered you should not use relo brackets anyways, you'll have too much downward angle. It's not their fault, get lowering springs or send them back. I'm lowered and they fit perfect.

 

The holes in the relo brackets should be located on the arc scribed by the LCAs. If they're not you should return them.

 

Yeah I will try and return them. My car grips and rips without the relo's.

 

Did you try bolting them on without the other suspension components hooked up? Since the LCA's locate the rear end, it's very possible it shifted on you. I have Founders relo. brackets (which I wouldn't buy again, but for a different reason) and my rear end is all centered.

 

And what is that reason?? I had no troubles with my founders brackets or LCA's??

 

If your suspension isn't loaded when you are putting the bolt through the rear of the LCA through the relo bracket you pry aren't going to get it to line up. If the suspension is loaded I bet you're issues are gone.

 

Or take out the rear springs, cycle the suspension until you get the bolts in, then cycle it down and put the spring back in, then put the shock on, and see if your wheels are still centered in the wheel well. My founders relo brackets fit great and look exactly like yours, I'm sure it's built in a jig, I don't see how it could be off.

 

The driver side fit good, passenger side fit like crap. I had to pry and wedge it into position on the housing, and even then had to oval the shock hole about 1/8" just to get the lower shock bolt to slide through properly. My brother had a similar fitment problem with his (also Founders).

 

I guarantee you did this with the suspension unloaded and hanging on the back of the car. If it isn't loaded you will have problems

No problems with Founders on a 95. Do them one side of a time. It's a lot easier.
