This thread is just awesome! You've heard it a bunch of times now but let me affirm: this is some incredible work you've done here!

I am excited to see this car finished. I bet anyone would be totally shocked to see the f-in' bog you pulled it from compared to what it is today.

We need to see some videos of this car in action sir! Haha

I really appreciate the kind words. It's been a journey for sure. This is my first time doing most any of this. It isn't perfect by any means. What is the easiest way to upload a video I have taken on my phone? I don't have much, just a 0-90 ish pull from today. It still needs to be tuned.,

lol it was a light day today my friend. I did get a ton of small things done and confirmed it does run at wot without any major issues. Hopefully soon I'll have some more paint progress. Just a lot of sanding ahead lol.

Your first time? Clearly you're a natural haha

The easiest way I know of offhand to upload a video is to download the Youtube app on your phone. Sign into your GMail account once you're in the app, go to Account and you'll see an icon that looks like a camera that you will want to select. That will load up the saved videos on your phone that you will choose from, then follow the prompts to upload.

Once its uploaded, send us a link here and we should be able to see it. Make sure not to make the video private.

These aren't pretty pictures by any means lol. I got some bonus time in today for a few hours. Got the majority of the prep done for the fenders and hood. I'm still probably one good day away from being prepped and having stuff removed for primer.

Hey guys checking in again. Been one of those slow times the past few weeks. I'm going to shoot the first coat of primer on the car tomorrow. Been a ton of sanding and body work put in lately. I'll post pics tomorrow once I coat it.

Got the first coat of primer on tonight. Hoping to sand it down and do a second coat tomorrow. Moving right along with the prep work.

Nice work! You going to use a single stage paint or something a little nicer? Body work may be your calling haha

Planning 2 coats of primer with sanding in between. Then 2 coats of colors and 3 coats of clear. It's not top top notch paint but still pretty high quality. The clear is great.

Got got all my priming done. I did some minor body repair in between coats. I plan to let it set for a week or two and regain patience lol.

Next I will need to get the rear bumper and hood into primer. Once I'm done with that I will start wet sanding and head towards color! Still a long ways to go but it's a big step to be to this point.

Absolutely amazing job, I want to follow this.

It saddens me every time I see one of these parted out, especially when they're not wrecked or irreparable. Glad to see one come back from the dead, most people would have wrote that car off in its original condition. Keep up the good work!

Loving this build thread.

One nice thing about doing these types of threads during the project, aside from documenting things that otherwise wouldn't have been documented, is that if you ever feel stuck or not being where you want the car to be, you can always look back as a reminder to how far you really have come.

checking in again it's been awhile. Lol. College football season got in my way for a month or two. No pics on this post but I have finished all of the priming. I've got all of the loose parts (bumpers, side skirts, spoiler) wet sanded and ready for color. I only like about half a day of wet sanding the car itself and I should be ready to tape her up and shoot it with color and clear.

Im taking a lot of time to finish up the paint but it's my first time and it's going to look marvelous. Once I hurdle this last big step I only have some very small things to tidy up and we are done!
