I use to paint cars back in the day, I had a 6 car garage out in the country, but I hated it, the prep work was the killer not the actual painting, I would try to take everything off instead of taping it. I would remove door locks, handles, trim pieces, headlights, tail lights ect. and of course everyone wanted a base clear coat job in red for $300.00, I quit and started painting Harley's and made the same amount for way less work...

I learned when painting cars, if I thought it would take me 4 weeks, then I would double that.

I'm back into the car for a week or two. Hoping to make a final push and finish up the paint work. I'll try to get some higher quality pictures this weekend. I've got the hood and roof left for sanding and them some buffing to do. As well as painting the bumpers.

As you guys can see in getting very close. I have a small list of pieces left to pick up that I've misplaced over the past two years. Looking like it'll leave the body shop next week. All I like is buffing out the roof and a part of the front bumper.

Also ive bought a set of deep dish zr1 replicas to mount it on. I need to tint the windows and move on to touching up some minor mechanical stuff. Very close now!

This is after buffing out the hood
She is looking like her old self back in 94
Finishing touches on the buffing of the tail light stuff
I love the back of these cars!!
