Solomon does. Got mine back a couple months back. He did an excellent job... Very patient, helpful and knowledgeable guy. I've had 0 issues with my tune.

Thanks for the input. I've just read gnarly things from different LT1 tuners as of late. Just got my pile running yesterday, but it's on the old tune.

Could be an option. Access to dyno and wide band?

So do you send data logs, or just tell him what you have and tunes that way?

Ed Wright still does mail order. He sold his dyno/shop years ago but still does mail order

I have heard good things about Solomon.

I have just identified what mods I have made and ship the PCM. Have since been on a dyno to see what it made and AF was dead nuts on the whole run

If you have emission testing have tuner set all IM's as "ready" aka "pass"

Right. Good thing about living in the sticks, no emissions or safety inspection. There are some real modern art masterpieces around these parts.

Was that using Ed's tune? He dyno tuned my LPE heads/cam setup some 19 years ago and it did very well.

I've used Solomon twice and am honestly not a fan. Dunno what the hype is about.

I'm pretty sure he has access to a dyno with a wideband, my tuner here in Colorado also does LT cars and had access to a dyno if your ok with bringing to Denver. Send me a PM if interested man.

Will do. Used to go to high school in Loveland and lived in Littleton for awhile. Thanks.

yes I just listed my mods IIRC on a form Ed had on his site back in 97.

I have had Ed tune my car mail order since 97 when I started modding it. My current set up is 383 with T56 (B-Body) Ed did that tune in 2006. I had emailed him a few times doing biz with him and even talked with him a few times when he had his shop in Oklahoma. He was always very helpful to me.

Just recently emailed him to see if he still did any mail order as I had a issue with my IM monitors not showing ready for my last smog test (fing Calif. changed the emission laws last year only allowing 1 IM to show not ready, I had 2). Back when he did my tune he did not "adjust" those to read ready. I mailed my PM back to him last month and he made the adjustments.

I know Ed is not the cheapest and some may not get along with him but IMHO he is very good and has gone out of his way to help me resolve issues that were not tune related. He would ask me to data log a few things and send to him. Every time it was something on my end, not his tune. I have always been satisfied with his work.

I used him for my 396 when I still drove it on the street. He did better through the mail than another shop did with the car on the rollers.

I watch the O2 sensors all the time when I'm in the car and never saw anything out of order. Even datalogged a few pulls to check everything out.

Ed is good, he is on here.... maybe not so much now that racing season is on.

Solmon did mine, just needed some timing pulled when i put it on a dyno. It was very close. I felt i wasted $300 taking the car to the dyno in the end.

Since my car is full bolt on minus EWP ( because they suck ) I told him what all modifications have been done to the car, all the specifications he needed to know, and told him things I wanted tuned out like VATS, TCS etc... He added some timing since I have a 160* thermo bleh bleh blah. I then data logged how the car ran on the mail order tune, and then emailed him the tune he gave me so he did a little more tweaking to it and got it spot on. Since then it has just been killer. Puts down a more noticeable amount of power(nothing to crazy though), runs way smoother and get about 23mpg highway. I have 4.10s so I don't get that "32MPG" that most T56 owners claim they get...

I've been out of the LT game for some time, but I had Ion do my mail order tune way back when. Went and had it dyno tune some time later and only gain 10hp on the top end but then again I added a EWP

I had used Ion for a hotcam tune, it only picked up 7rwhp more once it hit a dyno. I wasn't even going to dynotune it, but it was offered up for free, so who would turn that down?
