Not quick but it's consistent!
13.45 1.970 101.98
13.52 2.030 ??102.04
13.50 1.991 102.01
13.43 1.965 102.01
13.45 1.974 102.04
These times are WITHOUT N2O.
My 60',1/8th mile ET and MPH are the same as last year's. But I'm picking up a half second after the 1/8 mile. I don't believe I'm spinning, and somewhere past the 60' I can feel the car pick up (like it lunges) like it does when I run the juice
Quite dissappointing for a heads/cam swap
Maybe a gear change would help. It has 2.73's in now.
what d'ya think?

Wait, after a heads/cam swap you're only trapping ~102mph? I'd say something is definitely wrong. Even with a 1.9-2.0 60' you should be trapping WAY higher than that. What's your setup?
sounds like some good ol opti problems. How much coolant did you get on it during the swap? Do you have an aftermarket scanner you use?
A 102MPH trap roughly on a stock weight car would equal about 250-260rwhp. What kind of cam did you throw in there? Did you recheck your rockers to make sure that zero lash was set properly?
Just throwing some questions out there for ya.

Here's my setup CC 233/242 .569/.576 cam Comp "R" lifters(adjusted 1/8 past Zero according to Comp Cams tech), stock heads w/crane springs, Edelbrock shorty headers and no cat, 3200 Vigi 3644# I still wonder why I pick up .5 sec after the 1/8 mile though

not that dissapointing....rockers and springs wont make your heads flow any better than before....i thought you were talkin about some afr's or such. however you should be faster with what you have...goodluck
The edlecraps have to go, they suck, possibly one of the worst LT1 headers EVER. you still have stock heads for the most part which aint helping at all with that big cam. that cam needs to breathe and those heads arent doing anything to help it. you will also need considerably larger gears than your current 2.73's. you gained .5 sec because the setup isnt entirely a waste. it will still flow better than your old setup because of the larger cam, but you are leaving so much power on the table right now that it ain even funny. You need considerably larger gears, better flowing heads because that cam is too big for stock heads, different headers because those edlebrock 1-5/8ths stink, and make sure your air intake setup is good flowing as well.

Car went 12.9 @109 with the CC306 230/242 .540/.570 with stock heads and Mac Headers....Now with the McLeod(no slipping clutch) She feels like she is good for about a 12.6
