Had similar issue last June and replaced the Optispark Distrubitor. Also my key contacts for the security system was bad. so I bypassed it with a resistor in the circuit. Every now and then I still get the security light to come on while driving.
I'm not sure where the security module is to check for bad connections. Normally wouldn't be the cause of the car dying after engine was already running. Any thoughts.
