Well, i can base it on what my car ran..
I ran 12.98@106 at 3004' DA
1.6s, Longtubes, X pipe, Ls1 SLP lid, 4.10s and Dragradials
So you having a cam and you being at 800' i can see you running 12.7@109 ish if you had 4.10s i would say 12.4

Well ran the old Lt1 finally. Unfortunately it was 80 degrees today.
Best the car did was a 13.51 @ 107mph on a heat soaked hot lap and a 2.2 60ft. Best 60ft of the night was a 2.1. I was happy with the mph, im thinking it will get 109-110mph in cooler spring weather.
i feel my 342 gears are hindering my e.t. a lot! 1st gear is real boggy but once the car gets moving it pulls hard.
I need a lot more practice launching the car.
10 bolt held up which is always a bonus!

You are on your way bro.
3.42s will last a good while before breaking.
What tires did you run on?

You should consider 3.73s or 3.91s possibly 4.10s

Hang in there bro
Here is one of my old videos a friend took, I was on c6 wheels with 285/35/19 goodyears no real launch
Silver 96 z28 is me

Cool video. I had M/T 255 50 16's. "E.T. street ss drag radials. I dont even have to do a burnout and they still dead hook. Yeah we were contemplating that a good stage 2 clutch this winter and some gears are a good idea. Its still 99% a daily driver and goes to the track once or twice a year. I would like to get that 13.5 down to a 12.9-13.3. Once i do ported heads and learn to drive i would be happy with mid 12s.
Seen a turbo Ls1 camaro ss run a 8.8 @ 152, car had super violent acceleration, just nasty!

That 107 trap speed is enough for a mid-high 12 as you sit. What was the rpm launch and shift point ?

RPM launch was anywhere from 2000-3500rpm and i just couldn't get it right. Usually the car bogged down a little bit before the torque could pull it out of the hole.
Shifted around 5800 rpm in first and second gear and ran through the traps at around 6200rpm "autometer tach not stock tach" in 3rd gear with 342 gears.
Seems like if i want to trap 108-110 and break a 12.9 its gonna need to be reved to like 6300 in every gear and im gonna have to launch hard !!!
I'm not a huge fan of pushing my car to the limit because i put 10k miles on it a year and want it to last.

13.5 is just a little bit high.....I would think that with decent air, you'd be at 13.1 to 13.2.

Keep at it....you'll get there!

It will take a few times to the track before you decide to just give it hell and see what it really has. It will probably take a 4-4500 launch to get past the bog and 6300 shift points to get well into the 12's. I know people don't like to break stuff. Like KW said wait for some good air and shift a little higher.
