Default LT1 Cam build

Hi I have a 1995 Trans Am and I was wondering how my setup is gonna look horsepower wise and just overall performance.
I'm getting :
Cc503 camshaft
Comp Cams 7808-16 High Energy Pushrods
Cloyes Timing set
Proform Parts 66915 Proform Extruded Eoller Rocker Arms (1.6)
Trick flow PAC Racing Beehive Valve Springs
This cam will also be running on stock heads cause I'm told you can run it on stock heads but this is the biggest you would wanna go.

Please give me some feedback
Thanks,
Joe

I personally feel that the cc503 cam is one of, if not, the best shelf cam for a stock headed LT1 f-body street car. I can't see signatures since I'm on my work computer but assuming you have the necessary supporting bolt-ons it should be a strong car that is a lot of fun to drive with nice useable power. If auto you'll probably be in the 325-335rwhp neighborhood and if 6-speed in the 340-350rwhp neighborhood with a good tune if I had to guess. Car will easily be capable of 12 sec 1/4 mile passes assuming proper supporting parts, traction, good driving, etc. If my memory serves me right I got deep into the 12's with headers, cc503, SS3600 converter at full weight.

No personally experience with those Proform rockers but I believe I've read some negative things surrounding them. Don't quote me on that so may be worth looking into just to confirm. I prefer dual springs but the beehives (assuming they are the PAC 1218s?) will work fine with that cam. I gotta run to a meeting so haven't had a chance to look at those pushrods yet.

Get good quality roller rockers, ditch the proforms.
If staying with self alligning rr's get 3/8 arp rocker studs.
I have the PAC 1218 springs, they will work great with that cam assuming they get set-up at the proper install height.
Wouldnt hurt to knock out that cam driven pump drive while you are in there and get a Meziere ewp. Im running a cam similar to the 503, less duration but it is a BIG diff over stock power. These "baby" cams tend to keep the low end torque, even add some. Im hoping for high 12s-13.0 with my setup.

Depends on your supporting mods like stealth mentioned. I have a cam in mine very similar to the 503 in every way just with more lift to accommodate my ported heads. The car rips. Very drivable.

Hopefully you have some headers and exhaust already.

I strongly suggest you consider a quality 9.5" converter in the 3200-3600 stall speed range to compliment that cam. Something efficient and tight like a Yank SS series, Circle D, FTI etc. That cam will perform best with a good converter like that otherwise performance and fun factor will be left on the table. I daily drove the cc503 with a Yank SS3600 and it was an excellent combination.

Don't cheap out on the stall converter. Get a good quality converter. 2800 stall would be the lowest stall you would want for that build. Most people go with 3200-3600 stall for best performance.

B&M makes junk convertors

Stick with brands previously mentioned and I'd say a 3k minimum. I really like my FTI fwiw
