Default Ohio based professional engine builder recommendations?

I live in the Columbus Ohio area. looking for feedback from members on reputable & professional builders in Ohio. I'm looking for a new vendor & want to stay within the state.

I currently have a 383 configuration (from a 94' z28). My goal would be to drop the engine off (pan to intake) & have the builder go through it all. Rebalance, turn, replace components, reassemble & set valve lash.

thanks!!!!

Was going to recommend my BIL, but he has too much work. I would just start calling around and see who you like. You can also ask for references as well.

Mike Harris in Dayton.
One of the best LT1 builders anywhere.
He does all of my engine work.

Thanks for the suggestions!!! Really appreciate it! I can be in Dayton in just over an hour. I like knowing the vendor works well with the LT's!

I'm familiar with him, through my oval track days, back in the mid-late 80s, but I know he's still around, and really knew how to build a strong running, durable engine.

I know it's not in Ohio, but I have heard great things about Savani Auto Machine in PA. They're not that far from Pittsburgh, so depending what part of OH you're in it shouldn't be that far of a haul. I'm actually looking for a builder myself, and I was recommended to them by a good friend of mine.
