I agree, a rear fabbed kit can be fast, just not an off the shelf STS kit.

Yeah, isn't the Tytech Performance 3rd gen LT1 car rear mount?

In defense of the sts kit it was not designed to give the power that we are wanting to apply to the 550 on up Lt1 crowd. It was designed to give good reliable power for the person that just wanted to add convenient power levels, retain A.C. without jumping through hoops, so on and so fourth... Did the system have problematic issues YES, we're they easily solved YES. Was the kit upgradable most definitely....

Can people just give props to a job well done?

I agree with you... good bolt-in kit with no fab work. In order to still have it be fun and not laggy, the customer would typically use the smaller 60-67mm turbos... which do not support alot of power. The bigger the turbo, the more laggy... thats all.

Default What fuel?

Is this on regular pump gas or E85? I'm looking to make similar power on my 383 T-trim FMIC'D but I've already got 60 lb siemans injectors and a meth kit. Wondering what your fuel and injector DC were to make this #?
I'm sure you planned for more so 80 lb's will work to grow, I'm wondering if I can squeeze 600 whp out of the 60's with E85 without the meth kit? I have a dual 255 in tank and adjustable regulator to up the base pressure.
Not trying to hijack your thread, nice #'s! Are you running a MAF before or after turbo or not at all?

i will find out from the customer.

blower cars require more fuel at a given power level than turbos due to the parasitic loss of the supercharger.

I think 60# injectors will be at the hairy edge of 700rwhp and e85. You could up the fuel pressure to make the injectors act bigger, but pay attention to duty cycle.

Cool, he's got more than enough injector , but I'd bet he could pick up more with a meth kit. I'll start a thread in the forced induction section, thanks RQ.

Wish I could switch to one of your kits, and if any time to do so was right, it would be now, but I'd have to sell the S And T trim kits first, be lucky to get $3500 maybe between the 2, And I still got 24x kit to buy and its been sitting way too long already. Working on cars all day kind of kills any motivation to go wrench on your own after work, as well as the responsibilities of fatherhood.

he kept the same setup, opened up the exhaust to 4" and dumped the wastegate to atmosphere...

769rwhp/691rwtq @ 15psi on 93 on a mustang dyno!!!
10.4 @ 137mph

Shows what a well sorted combo can do.

Great stuff RQ, it looks like he maxed out the stock fuel lines at that rwhp/rwtq, good to know so I will just start off with -8 feed and -6 return lines on my setup once my engine is done.

It's also encouraging that he's running a T56 as I will be also.

Very nice results, these tiny turbos really do shine when they are driven by a "too large" motor.

He needs to push that thing harder now, I am doing those numbers with stock head castings.

good numbers, love that it is a stick car too! this may be the motivation that I need to finally install the lt1 boost kit I've had sitting in boxes in my garage for the last 3 years
