Cylinder Head ID - AFR?
Is anyone familiar with older versions of AFR heads for LT1s? I bought a car that's stated to be an AFR-headed 383. Without removing anything, I can see "CNC" and "1064" stamped on the front face behind the coil. I can't find a reference online with that combination, but everything else the seller told me about the car checked out so far. I suspect these are early AFRs, produced before they started engraving the logo in the front pad. Can anyone with knowledge of the older stuff confirm?

Maybe drop Tony Mamo (former AFR head designer) a PM?
Just a couple of routes I would follow...….

After looking into it further, these appear to actually be ported stock castings from the defunct CNC Cylinder Heads Inc. out of Florida. I got tripped up initially because 1054 is a valid AFR part number, but for a Gen 1 SBC.

The older AFR heads have an "A" cast by the spark plugs. I have a set of 190s that were discovered to not have the guides concentric with the seats. So, they are sitting as paper weights since it was cheaper to buy a different set of heads.
